Get local businesses to sponsor your fundraiser
Local business sponsorship can be a great way to cover some - or even all - of your campaign costs (e.g. colour powder, prizes) leaving more of the funds raised for your school. In return, you can give your sponsors valuable exposure to your school community.
- Sponsor logo on your fundraising website
Seen by families and supporters throughout your campaign. - Recognition in parent communications
Thank your sponsor in campaign updates and communications. - Promotion within your school community
Include sponsors in newsletters, social media or other school communications. - Event-day recognition
For event-based fundraisers, offer signage or sponsor recognition on the day. - One sponsor or several
Share the costs across multiple local businesses if that works better for your community.
Your campaign manager can help you work out what sponsorship could look like and how to approach local businesses.
The fine print, plainly
- Fees come from the funds raised - they are deducted before we pay the balance directly to your verified school bank account.
- Our minimum fee is $500 + GST - and it is deducted from funds raised, so there is no upfront platform payment required.
- Supporters can choose to leave an optional contribution at checkout to help support the cost of providing the fundraising platform and service. It's completely optional and doesn't affect their donation. This is retained by Go Raise It Fundraising and helps us keep our campaign fee down for you.
- Prizes are always your choice. There's no requirement to spend a percentage of your donations on prizes - you decide what works for your school.
- Optional extras are just that - optional. If you choose to order colour powder, slime or other extras through us, the cost can be deducted from your funds raised.
Product fundraiser pricing
There are two ways to run a product fundraiser with Go Raise It, and with all options you can see exactly what you can make as profit up front on our product fundraising platform.
Your own products
Sell your own products or work with a supplier you already know. You set the selling price and choose whether your group or your supporters cover the Go Raise It platform fee and Stripe fees.
Products from our supplier range
Choose from products listed by our suppliers. No platform or Stripe fees, and your return or commission is clearly shown on each product, so you know exactly what your group receives from every sale.
No surprises
Whichever option you choose, you will be able to see the pricing, fees and what your group receives before your fundraiser goes live.
Who pays the fees? You decide.
Every online fundraiser has costs. Card payments need to be processed and the fundraising platform needs to be provided - so someone has to cover those costs.
With Go Raise It, you choose how those costs are covered. Your group can cover them, build them into your product pricing, or give supporters the option to contribute towards them at checkout.
Supporters cover the fees
Choose to add the fee at checkout, so your group keeps the full proceeds from each sale.
Supporters can choose to contribute
Prefer to make it optional? Supporters can choose whether to contribute towards the fees at checkout. If they don't, your group covers the balance.
Your group covers the fees
Prefer no additional fee at checkout? Your group can cover the fees from the proceeds or factor them into your selling price.
- Selling your own products? You connect your own Stripe account, so funds from every sale land there directly and settle to your bank account. For supplier range, payment is made to your verified bank account at the end of the fundraiser under the supplier's terms, shown on their page.
- You'll see profit per item on every supplier's page before you sign up.
